CROSS COUNTRY
The Luke Parlatore XC Invitational has been held annually at Clove Lakes Park, each September, since 2014 in memory of a St. Joseph by-the-Sea High School runner who passed away in January, 2002. The below links are to the COMPLETE reported results (157 entries), through 2018, of each Wagner Falcon athlete, as well as the best results achieved by our participants over the years.
The Rob Breen XC Invitational was held annually at Clove Lakes Park, each September, from 2006 through 2013 in memory of a Monsignor Farrell High School runner who was hit by a car on Victory Boulevard and Seneca Avenue, just off of Clove Lakes Park after practice. The below links are to each reported result (163 entries) for any Wagner Falcon athlete, as well as the best results achieved by our participants over the years.
Cross Country events have taken place at Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx for over one hundred years. The Susan E. Wagner Falcons have run through the park since the 1970's. The data reported below represents the entirety of the 2,138 available results through the completion of the 2018, as well as the best reported times. As more data is uncovered, parsed and reviewed, the all time list will be updated to reflect that information.
The Bowdoin Park Cross Country Classic has been held annually in Wappingers Falls each September, since 2007, on the same course used for the New York State High School Federation Cross Country Championships. The below links are to the COMPLETE reported result (155 entries), through 2018, of each Wagner Falcon athlete, as well as the best results achieved by our participants over the years in which the team participated.
The PSAL Group Run has been held annually in early to mid September in Van Cortlandt Park and has become the league's defacto opening cross country meet of the season. The below links are to the reported results (1667 entries) for any Wagner Falcon athlete, in the years that the squads competed, since 2006, as well as the best results achieved by our participants over the years.
The PSAL Marty Lewis Cross Country Borough Challange has been held annually in either late September or late October in Van Cortlandt Park since 2008. The below links are to the COMPLETE reported result (127 entries) for any Wagner Falcon athlete, as well as the best results achieved by our participants over the years.
The NYC Mayor's Cup Cross Country Championships is held annually during the first week of October in Van Cortlandt Park, comprised of teams from the PSAL, CHSAA, and AISAA from across the city. The below links are to the full reported results (584 entries) from 2004 through 2018 of each Wagner Falcon athlete, as well as the best results achieved by our participants over the years.
The Brown Northeast Cross Country Invitational has been held each October for the past 37 years in Goddard Park in Warwick, Rhode Island. The below links are to the limited amount of available data for over 320 reported results, starting in 2006, of each Wagner Falcon athlete, as well as the best results achieved by our participants over the years. (Note that the Falcons have not participated in the last 3 years)
The Manhattan High School Cross Country Invitational has been held each October for the past 46 years in Van Cortlandt Park. The below links are to the limited amount of available data for the 165 reported results from 2001 through 2018, of each Wagner Falcon athlete, as well as the best results achieved by our participants over the years.
The PSAL Staten Island Cross Country Frosh/Soph Borough Championships are held each year in mid to late October in Clove Lakes Park. The below links are to each reported result (455 entries) for any Wagner Falcon athlete, from 2001 through 2017, as well as the best results achieved by our participants over the years. As additional years become available, the data will be updated.
The PSAL Cross Country Frosh/Soph City Championships are held each year in late October to early November in Van Cortlandt Park. The below links are to each reported result (437 entries) for any Wagner Falcon athlete, from 2001 through 2018, as well as the best results achieved by our participants over the years. As additional years become available, the data will be updated.
The PSAL Cross Country City Championships are held each year during the second week of November in Van Cortlandt Park, to close out the cross country running season (save state & other championship events). The below links are to each reported result (545 entries) for any Wagner Falcon athlete, from 2001 through 2018, when the championship, as currently contested, is at 5,000 meters, and earlier reported results from the 1970's, when the championship was contested at 2.5 miles, as well as the best results achieved by our participants over the years. As additional years become available, the data will be updated.
The NYS Federation Cross Country Championships are held each year in mid November to crown the state wide champion from amongst the PSAL, CHSAA, PHSAA and AISAA. Since 1989, the meet has been held in Bowdoin Park. The below links are to each reported result (43 entries) for any Wagner Falcon athlete, from 2000 through 2017, as well as the best results achieved by our participants over the years. INDOOR TRACK
The Ocean Breeze Track and Field Athletic Complex opened in the fall of 2015 and has become the defacto home track for the Falcons. The below links are to the COMPLETE updated through the 2018-19 indoor season for each reported result (2279 entries) for any Wagner Falcon athlete / relay team, as well as the best results achieved by our participants over the years.
Phillip Rosendorf set the facility record in March, 2017 for the Weight Throw, which still stands today.
OUTDOOR TRACK
The Big Blue Track & Field Classic is held here on Staten Island at St. Joseph by-the-Sea High School. It has been contested from 1992 - 2003 and from 2012 to current. The below links are to each reported result (368 entries) for any Wagner Falcon athlete / relay team, as well as the best results achieved by our participants over the years.
Benjamin Ezike set two meet records in 2012, in both the Long Jump and the Triple Jump, which still stand today.
