The 2nd class of the Susan E. Wagner Cross Country / Track & Field Hall of Fame was inducted on June 3, 2019. The honor went to James Lynch, class of 1983. Still a prominent fixture at the track today, James, or Jimmy, as he is usually referred to, was inducted by his teammate- Jeff Benjamin. James was part of the championship team of the early 1980's, when the program first came to prominence. At the time of his induction, James still holds the Falcon record in the 5K at Van Cortlandt Park (16:38), as well as the Indoor and Outdoor 1,500 Meter & 1,600 Meter runs.

The first inductee was Christina Melian, class of 2012. Christina’s Falcon legacy can be seen in the record books. At the time of her induction she held/co-held 13 outdoor records, 9 indoor records, and 3 Van Cortlandt Park Cross Country records. The breath of those records covered sprints, mid distances, distance, steeplechase and also a field event.

The next honoree of the inaugural class is the relay team of Bob Orazem, Tom Hammerton, Bob Fabregas and Richie Harder. At the time of their induction, they continued to have the distinction of holding the oldest still standing Falcon records. As an Indoor 4x800 Meter team, they ran a 8:04.4 at the U.S. Olympic Invitational at Madison Square Garden, which also stands as the record by any Staten Island high school team for the event at MSG. They also hold the Falcon, and Staten Island high school team record, in the Outdoor 4 x 1 Mile relay of 17:21.6, which was also set in 1976.
